Work for in Washington. We are interested in hiring a Puget Sound Platform
Controller to handle our four business managers and five dealerships in the
Puget Sound region due to growth.
The
opportunity to join Gee Automotive Companies has never been better since it has
been developing so quickly! As our Puget Sound Controller, it would be your job
to instruct, encourage, and develop our Business Manager so that she can
provide accurate financial reporting on time and give our dealerships the best
possible support. Additional HR duties will include assisting our management
teams in creating and promoting a positive work environment, employee relations
and investigations, and employee engagement.
The
ideal applicant will have previous HR expertise, knowledge, and responsibility
in addition to experience as a multi-store or high-volume single-point dealership
controller.

Functions of a Puget Sound Controller
- oversee the hiring, training, supporting, and career development of Business Managers for the allocated stores.
- Conduct quality assurance for financial reporting.
- To make sure the dealerships' finances are in good shape, keep an eye on the trial balance, supporting schedules, and reconciliations.
- As required, collaborate closely with the CFO, Business Managers, Platform Controllers, General Managers, Platform Vice President.
- Work with the business managers to make sure your allocated stores are in full compliance with all laws and regulations. Renewals of dealer licences, city business licences, Fire Marshall reports, OSHO 300 logs, and elevator permits are just a few examples.
- Work with the business managers to make sure that the accounting records are always kept up to date, accurate, and organised.
- When there are changes or absences, take care of the business manager responsibilities for the allocated stores.
- Examine and sign the checks.
- Assure the store's tax filings are being overseen.
- Investigations, engagement, and employee relations.
- Assist the dealership management teams as a Partner in Excellence resource and act as a physical representative of our corporate HR staff.

Qualified Puget Sound Controller
- High-volume, multi-store or single-point dealership An experienced controller is required.
- Strong preference should be given to CDK experience.
- Preferably, an accounting BA or AA. It is necessary to have a high school diploma and equivalent work experience.
- Strong technical aptitude, excellent leadership, and communication abilities.
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, have a driver's licence in good standing, no moving violations, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test; THC is not included in the screening.
