Vertex Global Solutions:
For an imminent assignment, a large distributor in the Bronx
is looking for a data entry clerk.
The ideal applicant must be bilingual in Spanish and have
expertise using a computer and entering data.
Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM (some Saturdays)
Starting pay: is $18.00 per hour.
Place: The Bronx
Among others, but not exclusively, responsibilities are:
- Handling invoices
- Processing of credit notes and sales incentives
- Handle POS material orders for merchants and keep track of the inventory that is kept in the office or delivery centre.
- Help the operations coordinator update the SKUs for the POS materials and the bill of materials.
- Help with the organisation of brand files, both digital and physical.
- Excel proficiency is essential, but SAP experience is not necessary since we will instruct you on the fundamentals.
Qualifications
- Excellent computer abilities are required (Expert level in Microsoft Word and Excel including pivot tables and v-lookup)
- Shown customer service abilities and strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and great recordkeeping abilities
- An aptitude for working effectively under duress, meeting deadlines, and adhering to schedules
- Good oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with personnel at all levels and with management; Ability to work well in a team setting; ability to handle sensitive and secret information
